The complementary products feature enhances the customer shopping experience by providing thoughtful pairing suggestions, helping customers quickly find related items and save selection time. It also increases the practicality and perceived value of product combinations, boosts store sales, and showcases the brand's professionalism and deep understanding of customer needs.
Log in to your Shopify admin.
Go to the Shopify App Store.
Search for the Shopify Search & Discovery app.
Click Add App and complete the installation.
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Search & Discovery.
Click on Recommendations in the left-hand menu.
On the Recommendations page, click Manage Recommendations.
Search for or select the main product for which you want to set complementary products.
Click to enter the recommendation configuration page for that product.
Navigate to Online Store > Customize in your Shopify admin.
Select the Product Template from the dropdown menu.
As shown in the image, add a Complementary Products Block to the product page template.
Save your changes to ensure the block is displayed on the product page.
